The Copenhagen Edit: Finding Our People at Mandatory

The Copenhagen Edit: Finding Our People at Mandatory

A few weeks has passed, but the energy still hasn't worn off. We've just got back from Copenhagen, and the trip's still humming away behind everything we're doing.

We went for Mandatory, but the show was only half of it. We took the full range out there and put it in front of a new international audience. What stuck with us, though, was the people.

Copenhagen has a way of drawing the right crowd. Independent brands doing things their own way. Creators with a real point of view. People who care about the same details we do. Some of the best moments happened away from the stand: a conversation at the bar, a shared nod at someone else's work, the easy feeling of being among like-minded people who just get it.

Between the meetings we did what we always do best, explore on foot. Copenhagen rewards it. Cobbled streets, clean lines, an easy sense of style on every corner, and the odd well-earned drink along the way. We shot as we went, catching the collection in the places we found and the moments in between. It's a city that takes design seriously without ever making a fuss about it, which felt like good company for what we do.

Trips like this are a marker of where Unseen is heading. From Paris to Copenhagen - with more in the pipeline - the map keeps getting bigger, and the community coming with us keeps growing. Not just people who wear the shoes, but people who share the outlook. If you've been following the journey, thank you. It only gets more exciting from here.
